Q: What makes Muvèlo Portable lamps modular?
These Lamps are designed in three detachable parts – the System (LED + Battery), Body, and Lampshade. You can mix and match them to suit your space and mood.
Q: Can I use one System with multiple Bodies?
Yes. The System is universal and fits perfectly into any Body from our collection.
Q: Can the Lampshade be removed or replaced?
Yes. It simply clicks into place and can be swapped anytime for a different design.
Q: Are the parts magnetic or screwed in?
The fit is pressure-based and guided by form-lock geometry. No screws or magnets, just smart design.

Q: What type of LED is used?
A warm white 3000K LED with a soft glow and 100 lumens brightness, perfect for ambient use.
Q: Is the LED dimmable?
Not yet. We are working on a dimmable version for future launches.
Q: How long does the battery last?
A full charge offers 14+ hours of continuous light.
Q: How do I charge the lamp?
Via the USB-C port located at the base of the System. Charging takes 3–4 hours.
Q: Does the lamp heat up?
Not at all. The LED remains cool even after hours of use.

Q: What materials are used in Vaari?
Vaari lights use a thoughtful combination of sustainable and performance materials: 3D-printed with PLA (Polylactic Acid), biodegradable, compostable under industrial conditions.
3D-printed with PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), known for better light diffusion, durability, and temperature resistance.
Built with ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), a strong, impact-resistant polymer used for electronic housings.
Q: Why different materials for different parts?
Each material is selected based on functionality, performance, and environmental impact:
for the Body ensures sustainability and beautiful surface texture.
for the Lampshade ensures better light transmission, heat resistance, and long-term clarity.
in the System guarantees mechanical strength and drop resistance.
Q: Is PLA eco-friendly?
Yes. PLA is made from renewable resources like corn starch and is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions.
Q: Is PETG eco-friendly?
PETG is recyclable and far safer compared to traditional plastics. It offers strength without sacrificing sustainability goals.
Q: Can I compost or recycle the products? Compostable at industrial facilities (not in home compost).
: Recyclable through specific plastic recycling streams (consult local recycling programs).
Q: Are the lights heavy?
No. The combination of PLA, PETG, and ABS keeps the lamp lightweight but robust, easy to move, carry, and set up.
Q: Will the lampshade yellow over time?
No. PETG is resistant to yellowing and UV degradation under normal indoor conditions.
Assembly & Maintenance
Q: Does the lamp come assembled?
The lamp comes pre-assembled but can be easily disassembled for mixing parts or cleaning.
Q: How do I clean the light?
Dust it gently or use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners or direct water exposure.
Q: Is the product waterproof?
No. Vaari is not waterproof. Use in dry spaces only.

Q: Who designs the lights?
All designs are created in-house at Muvelo Studio by architects and designers passionate about material exploration and movement-based design.
Q: Are these available in stores?
Currently available online via www.muvelo.in and through select B2B partners. Store partnerships coming soon.
Q: Do the lights have a switch?
Yes. A minimal on-off switch is embedded into the base for ease of use.
Q: Are the designs limited edition?
Yes. Each Body and Lampshade is released in small batches. Some designs may be retired post-launch.
